In life there are but few things worth living for, one of those things is rating.
There shall never be anything evenly important as the good tracks in the Uloops community.
But rating is the next most important thing to making good tracks!
When the genre is not of my liking I use my independent judgment system.
My independent judgment system:
- Is the volume aligned correctly?
- Is the synchronizer on beat?
- Is there a lot of repetition?
- Does it sound equal to others from the same genre (it helps if you listen other genres).
- What have others rated so far?
Based on my regular first choice system.
My regular first choice system:
- Rate 1 if the melody, beat or modulator is off beat.
- Rate 2 if you think it's bad but not horrible.
- Rate 3 if it sounds okay, but it doesn't really do enough for you.
- Rate 4 if it is pretty cool (as stated when you rate 4 on the website interface).
- Rate 5 if you think it is a great, fantastic or absolutely wonderful track.
Comments:
Something which I also find important is the song comments, there is a lot we all can learn from each other.
Don't be afraid, you will not be hated by everyone if you explain in detail what you think that should be changed to someone's track. Comments are a positive response input system.
